Assign the Day's Work

Dispatch opens on Assign Work. Office roles see it; who can open Dispatch is also controlled under SettingsRoles.

Tabs across the top: Assign Work, Escalations, Route Planner, Saved Routes, and Live Maps. The first visit lands on Assign Work. After that, the sidebar remembers the last Dispatch tab you used in this browser.

   Open Assign Work

   Go to Dispatch. The jobs map sits above the table. Pin numbers match table order.

   Narrow the board

   Filters apply to the map and the table together. Group jobs is Yes or No. Crew is a searchable Individuals / Groups menu — All Crew is everyone; Assigned Today (or Assigned In Range on a date range) is people already on the board. Show is All Jobs, Unassigned only, or Assigned only. Tags defaults to All Tags. Territories appears when Dispatch Territories is on and territories exist (empty means all). + Range next to the date expands a start and end day.

   Assign people

   Pick a crew member on each unassigned row, or use SOLIVEN Assign the Day in the toolbar. Assign the Day assigns jobs for the selected date and builds each worker's driving route. Review the proposal, then apply it — nothing is written until you apply. On each row you can still change the assignee after that.

   Reuse a route (optional)

   The overflow menu (More actions) has Apply Saved Route and Save current route. Saving a current route opens Save As Route Template. On Route Planner, the button is Save As Route Template (or Save Template (N selected) when stops are checked).

Route Planner is included on Crew and up, not on Launch. Optimize Current Route only re-orders stops already on a saved route — it does not assign new work. Drag stops or click a numbered pin → Swap Stop → click another pin, then Save Order. Check Start and end at dispatch office when the loop should use the depot from SettingsDispatch.

Escalations is past-due visits and jobs flagged for follow-up. Live Maps is real-time job progress across crew routes.

Verify it worked

On Assign Work for that date, the jobs you meant to send out have assignees. On Route Planner, the stop order matches what you saved. Office still sees them on Schedule and Jobs. Crews see them under Jobs on the phone.
