Customers, sites, and contracts each season, average contract value by work type, who renewed and who was lost, and how this season's sign-up quotes are converting.
Updated October 11, 2026
Contracts by Season shows what each season booked: how many customers, sites, and contracts, what they are worth, the average per work type, who came back, and how well this season's sign-up quotes are converting. It is part of Advanced Reporting.

Open it
Go to ReportsContracts by Season. It is in the Customers group.
Pick a season and work types
Season opens on the season you are signing customers up for. Work Type narrows every number on the page; leave it empty for all work types.
Read the tiles
Customers, contracts, Total Contract Value, and Average Contract Value, each compared with last season.
Read who came back
Customers vs Last Season counts customers who Renewed, are New, or were Lost, and the Retention rate — customers in both seasons divided by customers last season.
Read the sign-up quotes
Sign-Up Quotes shows quotes Sent, Signed (with the share of sent), Still Open, Declined, Expired, the Median Days to Sign, and Why Customers Declined.
Below the tiles, Contract Value by Season charts the last five seasons, and By Work Type lists each work type's contracts, total value, average value, customers, new, renewed, and lost, next to last season's value.
A season still ahead is not final
For next season, the totals count only the contracts signed so far, so they will read lower than last season until sign-ups are done. Follow who is left on Office OpsSign-Ups.

If Something Looks Wrong
| What you see | Why | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A contract is missing from its season | It is cancelled, archived, or its dates place it in another season | Open the contract and check its status and dates |
| No work type appears in the table | Older contracts were saved without a work type | Open the contract and set its work type |
| Sign-up numbers are all zero | No quotes for this season have been sent, or the quotes have no Season Year and count in the current season | Set the Season Year on renewal quotes |
Frequently asked questions
Which contracts count in a season?
Every contract that is not cancelled or archived and whose dates place it in that season — the same rule Sign-Ups uses. The season number stored on the contract is not used, so an agreement that crosses a year boundary lands in the year it mostly covers.
What is Average Contract Value?
Total contract value for the season divided by the number of contracts. Contract value is the contract's annual total.
Why does a customer show as Lost when they are still a customer?
Lost means they had a contract last season and none counting for this one, in that work type. A customer who has not renewed yet reads as lost until they sign — check them on Office Ops → Sign-Ups.
Which quotes are in the sign-up numbers?
Quotes for the chosen season that reached the customer — not drafts, add-ons, job approvals, or repair quotes. Signed means approved. Expired includes a sent quote past its Valid Until date.
