Complete a Visit
Clock in if required, open today's job, work Arrive through Complete, or skip the visit for today with a reason.
Updated September 3, 2026
Sign in on the Operator tab (email and password). Bottom tabs: Jobs, Map, Find Jobs, Activity, and Office if you have an office role.
If your company turned on Clock In before dashboard for your role, the app shows Clock In to continue until you tap Clock In on that screen or under Profile. You can pick a vehicle at clock-in.
Open the job
Tap Jobs, then the visit. The job screen's primary button is Start Job, or Complete Job once the visit is in progress. On a work type that uses a wizard, Complete Job reopens that wizard where you left off rather than checking you out on the spot.
Start the visit
Start Job opens the visit wizard for that work type. The Arrive step's primary button is Start Visit (or Continue if the job is already in progress). Pool visits then walk Arrive → Before Photos → Water Test → Dose Plan → Parts Used → Tasks → Photos → Complete. Other industries use the same idea — Arrive, any required photos, the work steps, then Complete. Parts Used only appears when Inventory is on.
Record the water test (pool)
Reading fields start blank — only what you actually measured gets submitted, so a stored reading can be trusted as a measurement. Tests you rarely carry (TDS, ORP, phosphates) are tucked under More readings. If Free Chlorine, pH, or Total Alkalinity is empty when you continue, the app asks Missing readings — Not recorded: … Continue without them? with Go back and Continue. It is a prompt, not a block: a drained or winterized pool legitimately skips the test.
Work the Tasks step
The Tasks list comes from your work type's Visit checklist under SettingsWork Types; your office can edit it, and can turn the step off with Show a checklist at checkout. You can still add one-off items in the field. A task the office marked Required blocks checkout until you tick it.
Finish
On the Complete step, tap Complete & Check Out. Before Photos / After Photos can be required per work type under SettingsWork Types (Field visit photos).
That step also carries After-dose retest (optional). Re-test once the chemicals have circulated and tap Save Retest — those readings show as "After" on the customer's service report, next to what you measured on arrival. It saves on its own, so it survives the app closing before checkout.
If you cannot do the visit today, on the job screen tap Skip Today. The dialog title is Skip for Today. Reasons: Customer Not Home, Site Inaccessible, Ran Out of Time, Weather, Other (Other needs a note). Confirm Skip for Today.
Skip is not checkout
Skipping does not log chemicals, does not fulfill the plan visit, and does not send a visit summary. Use Complete & Check Out when the work actually happened.
Verify it worked
The job status is Completed. Office sees it on Jobs and Schedule. If chemical billing is on, products logged on Dose Plan (or that work type's chemical step) are what can roll onto the next monthly invoice.
Frequently asked questions
The app will not open Jobs until I clock in. Can Admin skip that?
Clock In before dashboard is set per role under Settings → Team. Admin cannot be required to clock in first. Profile stays available so you can tap Clock In.
Is Skip Today the same as completing the visit?
No. The job becomes Scheduled - Delayed, is hidden from the crew today list, and does not count as a completed visit. Office still sees it on Schedule and Jobs with the reason.
