Schedule a Visit

Job statuses: Scheduled, Scheduled - Delayed, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled. Recurring plans put visits on Schedule automatically. Use this when you need a visit that is not already on the calendar.

   Open New Job

   Go to JobsNew Job. The page title is New Job.

   Pick the work type first

   When more than one work type is enabled, a row of tabs sits at the top of the form under What Are You Scheduling?. Pick the work type before anything else: it decides which fields the form shows and which sites you can choose, and switching it clears sites that no longer match. With only one work type enabled there are no tabs — you set Type further down the form instead.

   Choose scheduled or one-off

   If the work type allows one-off visits, Visit Type offers Scheduled Job and One-Off Job. Scheduled is the regular visit. One-off is outside the seasonal window or fixed interval — turn that on per work type under SettingsWork Types (Allow One-Off Jobs).

   Pick customer, site, date, and crew

   Choose the customer, the site, and the Scheduled Date, then assign a crew. Selecting more than one site creates one job per site. For a scheduled visit on a contract work type, the form links the active covering contract for that site (required). When exactly one contract matches, it is linked for you and named on screen; when more than one matches, pick the right plan under Service Contract.

   Create

   Click Create Job. The visit appears on Schedule and in Jobs.

Verify it worked

Open Schedule on that date. The job is Scheduled at the site you picked, with the contract linked if the work type requires one.
