Customize Your Dashboard

Choose which stat cards and widgets your dashboard shows and in what order. The choice is saved to your account, so it follows you to any browser. Reset to default puts the role layout back.

Updated October 17, 2026

The Dashboard opens with a standard layout for your role: a row of number cards across the top, the jobs list, and panels such as Customer Ratings and This Week beside it. You can change which cards and panels appear and their order. The choice is saved to your account, not to the browser, so it follows you to any device.

  1. Open Customize

On the dashboard, click Customize dashboard at the top right of the page, just above the cards. The panel is titled Customize dashboard.

  2. Tick what you want to see

The panel has two lists. Stat cards are the numbers across the top. Widgets are the jobs list and the panels beside it. Ticked rows are shown. Unticked rows are hidden and drawn with a dashed border.

  3. Drag to reorder

Use the handle at the left of a row to drag it up or down. Cards are drawn across the top in the order of the list; widgets fill the side column in the order of the list.

  4. Save

Click Save. The dashboard redraws at once. Save stays disabled until something differs from what is on screen. Cancel or Escape discards the draft.

What you can pick

The lists only offer what your role and your company's features allow. Admins and office managers see the widest set, including Revenue This Week. Office workers and field managers see the standard cards. Field crew see their three "my jobs today" cards.

Stat cardWhat it counts
Jobs TodayJobs scheduled for today.
Outstanding InvoicesMoney still owed across unpaid invoices.
Outstanding QuotesQuotes sent and not yet approved.
Active LeadsLeads in new, contacted or qualified.
Active contractsActive plans or contracts. Water-body companies get separate Pond and Lake cards.
PermitsSites with a permit on file. Only where permits are turned on.
CustomersActive customers.
Jobs This Week, Completed This Week, Revenue This WeekThe same numbers the This Week panel shows, as their own cards.

Widgets are Jobs list, Training, Permit alerts, Inventory alerts, Customer feedback and the This Week summary. Permit and inventory alerts only appear where those features are on.

The setup checklist is not a tile

The onboarding checklist stays pinned above the cards until setup is finished. It cannot be hidden from Customize.

Reset to default

Open Customize and click Reset to default. This clears your saved choice, so you are back on the standard layout for your role. It is only enabled when you have a saved layout. Because the default is computed each time, it also picks up any cards OpsVara adds later. A saved layout does not: it stays exactly as you left it.

Verify it worked

Save a change, then sign in from another browser or your phone. The dashboard should match. Open Customize again and Reset to default should be enabled.

Frequently asked questions

Does my layout change what my teammates see?

No. The layout is saved on your own user account. Each person picks their own, and anyone who has never pressed Save keeps the standard layout for their role.

A card I picked disappeared. Why?

Cards only show when your role and your company's features allow them. If your role changed or a feature was turned off, that card is skipped until it applies again. Open Customize to see what is available now.

Will new cards show up on their own?

Only if you are on the default layout. Once you save your own layout it stays as you left it. Reset to default picks up anything new.

Can I hide the jobs list?

Yes. Untick Jobs list under Widgets. The remaining widgets then spread across the full width.
